Surreal Self Portrait.
A Surreal self portrait of my hand that shows my interests and passions in one image.
This is my shot at a surreal self portrait. I really like how it relates to me as a person. I used a lot of symbolism in this project. The overall message is to be conscious of our decisions that affect nature. I started with my hand and went to work. I wanted it to be difficult to see my hand in the image when completed, but after looking at it for a while, it'll jump out at you. The city on the island is made of my writing utensils that I had in my pencil bag. Overall, I think it has a very ominous tone to it calling the viewer to action to save the environment.
